A very popular Christmas carol in Poland, and fun to play on dulcimer, too.  Surprisingly, there are only a couple of English-language versions out there, maybe because a straight translation doesn't scan very well.  Steeleye Span does a nice version, though, and it's even in the key of D.  Playing dulcimer with a chorus might be hard, though, because from the YouTube videos I've watched, it's very popular to modulate up a half-step every verse or so.
